Myrna Jarit

Sculptor

As a sculptor Myrna found her calling later in life after retiring from the business world, giving her the freedom to allow her creativity to blossom. Under the guidance of Master Sculptor Frank Varga, Myrna began working first in clay and then moving into carving stone. She has produced works in both alabaster and marble.

In 2004 Myrna traveled to Carrara Italy with Varga to begin work on "TANGO". The unfinished marble was shipped back to the studio in Delray Beach where it was completed in 2008. Since then it's been on display and shown in the Boca Raton Art Guild as well as the "Creative Dimension" exhibit in Delray Beach where it was juried and received a Judge's Recognition from WITVA.
